hello bakitwhy.com. im new to this site. i just found out about it, so yeah. so okay, i need answers. just about 20 mins ago, my parents were talking to me about what i should do after highschool. im a junior right now, an incoming senior. my passion is singing. its what ive always done! and i do plan to audtion on american idol. and its only obvious that i want to become somewhat of a singer, but my parents, or atleast my mom thinks that its best that take up a career with nursing. TYPICAL FILIPINO MOM! oh my, i cant even stand being in a hospital. thing is, we're dealing with some financial problems right now, and so, they're thinking of sending me to the Philippines. which is seriously a no-go for me. i have never even thought of it. and i only want to make my parents happy. my ateh wasted her life years ago. getting married young. changing religions. it just broke both my mom and dad's heart. i want to do what they want me to do, help them with anything they need help with. but moving to the Philippines is just crazy. im not sure what i want anymore. take up singing or moving to make my parents happy. i seriously need some advice. they arent forcing me. but if i never make anything of myself after highschool, im going to be a complete failure to them. i dont want to looked at like they do my older sister. please help.
